Purpose:
We, as a Northeast Community, love to read! We have created this site to encourage literacy and provide a way to connect people to books. We invite people to come together to talk about what they are reading. This space will help us communicate the wide and varied opportunities to join in book discussions and to share ideas about the texts we enjoy. We can read things together and choose books that can become part of the Northeast Reads Library. Also, we can support our local Northeast Middle School by purchasing Northeast Reads T-Shirts. Proceeds from the sale of these shirts go toward books for the striving readers at Northeast Middle School on 29th and Hayes.
Submit your calendar items to lclurvey@gmail.com.
